La Galouïne Auberge & Restaurant is located in a beautiful environment, in the heart of the Saguenay – St. Lawrence Marine Park, and offers dishes where the terroir has its rightful place. The services offered on site: lodging, restaurant, licensed bar, take-out, packages with activities, whale watching cruise tickets and boutique.

In this establishment managed by Paryse Deschênes, and under the care of chef-owner Martin Brisson, the pleasures of the table come from two smokehouses that give all their flavour to the regular or maple smoked salmon as well as the marinated and smoked duck breast. Other specialties include grilled meats, game and seafood. And the desserts are not to be outdone!

La Galouïne has two terraces where you can enjoy quality beers, a bistro and children’s menu, as well as 20 rooms (in 3 buildings and a studio) with private bathrooms, coffee or tea maker, refrigerator, microwave and Wi-Fi. A great way to prolong the pleasure in a part of the country known for its marine mammals and its legendary bay.

In the boutique, L’Aquilon, we showcase the assets of the North Shore through a range of products signed “Terroir Boréal” (onion confit, spreads, berry syrups such as wild blueberry and cranberry, wild mushroom powders, infusions, herbs and more).
